Why even wake? Again and Again

A pointless exercise.

 

"Sometimes I feel..." - Afflicts us All

The human condition

 

My minds tide , Rises and Falls

It washes you away.

 

My moods affect those who are around me; I affect the moods of you who intercept me.

I must control that which needs controlling;  So obvious, it needs no extolling.

Grasp this smelly beast by its horns and wrench;  Release all that's rank ,rid yourself this stench

Then you will find the happiness you seek; So obvious , demands no great technique.

I must shed this skin of scorn
Tear free this garment of
isolation

the wordless tongue idles in its spittle

Scratched and raw from this journey
the sloughed skin leaves its scabs
exposed

Wrench this insanity from my mind
spill these foul seeds , ungrown and
vulnerable

Time is not on our side
The message still unclear

Our Fear of Genocide
Of shadows and of death
Fill the voids with unrest

Finality its breath
Empty of common quests
Death reverts to shadow

Hiding that, can be seen
Inspires all that's hollow
Trading us in between

To follow light blindly
And believe in a cloud
Its will is unkindly

The hope shatters aloud
Not till our blood flows free
Will faith end misery
